Personalised care for your small pets

For small animal care, we take on all our usual house sitting responsibilities while keeping your pets happy too! This service includes pets such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and birds e.g. cockatoos or parrots. We aim to fit seamlessly into your routine and will keep to any guidelines you give us involving feeding and maintaining their living space. We love to give animals lots of love and attention, including lots of cuddles, interaction and play time when needed! If your parrot needs a daily chat, or your hamsters like to be handled, we love to provide the best care for them.
Feeding + Healthcare
Keeping your pets happy and healthy
We will feed your pet their diet (all food provided by you) and any treats permitted as outlined by you. We are comfortable with cleaning out tanks and cages, changing newspaper bedding, preparing special food and can also brush and wash your pets if needed. We fit our days around your pets’ routine or habits, including exercising them as much as they need. We are comfortable with handling small animals and putting them out in exercise enclosures, and will always give them as much attention as other bigger pets!
Safety
Your pets are in good hands
As we always pet sit as a couple, there will always be two pairs of hands and eyes looking out for your pets and as such we are comfortable pet sitting any number of animals. We have a multitude of experience caring for different small animals, including but not limited to; fish, guinea fowl, ducks, chickens, geese, peacocks, quails, doves, parrots, cockatiels, hamsters, degus, guinea pigs and rabbits. We also have a range of experience caring for reactive and anxious animals, and are comfortable with committing to these responsibilities provided that we are given this information upfront.
We will keep you updated on how your pets are doing while you’re away, providing photos, video updates and messages as often as requested. We let you tell us how much contact you’d like during our stay, and are never offended if owners request regular updates – especially if you haven’t used pet sitters before.
