A simple booking system
We aim to make the process of booking us as your house sitters as smooth as possible, maintaining our professional standards and thorough checks throughout. Here’s a breakdown of how it all works!
Before the sit
We make sure everyone has all the details they need
Send us an enquiry
Contact us with the dates you would like to book us, your location, and some information about your home and the pets that we’ll be caring for. If you only have a rough idea of your dates, that’s fine too!
Booking enquiryWe reply within 48 hours
We respond with a quote for the service
Let’s chat
Once you agree to the quote, we then arrange a phone call or video call to confirm the details and ensure everyone is happy with the arrangement
Pay a deposit
We will send an invoice for a deposit of 25% of the cost of the sit to secure the dates in our calendar, along with a copy of our terms and conditions. By paying the deposit you are agreeing to our terms
Pay the remaining amount
We will send an invoice for the remaining amount 6 weeks before the start date, and a checklist for you to fill in detailing everything we need to know about your home and pets
Stay in touch
We are always contactable at this stage to arrange arrival times or discuss any last minute details
During the sit
We aim to fit seamlessly into your routine, so your pets won’t even know you’ve gone!
We carry out all our house sit responsibilities, as outlined by you and agreed upon by us. We stay in touch as much as requested throughout, providing photo and video updates if needed. On the final day of the sit we execute a thorough clean and tidy, and ensure the house looks the same as if you’d never left! We make sure all dogs have been walked and all animals fed as necessary before your return.

We may contact you in the days after the house sit to request feedback. If you’d like to book us again in the future, get in touch directly – we love to return to house sits and settle back in with furry friends!

So incredibly glad we found Chris & Suze, a truly wonderful couple with a real love of all animals! They managed to accommodate our super last minute request to look after our very young, very playful kittens! Chris & Suze are truly the best house and pet sitters! Booking with them was easy, professional and as first time kitten pawrents needing a sitter, they guided us smoothly through the process and alleviated all of our concerns during our initial phone call with them. We got to meet them both just before the sit too, which was great because we could get to know them both as well as introduce them to the kittens! The kittens really couldn’t love them any more, we got regular updates (and reassurance!) each day, the kittens really came out of their shell with them too which shows just how much love and care Chris & Suze put into their sits! As for the house, they cared for our house like it was their own, it was immaculate when we got back (probably cleaner than when we left!), they’d looked after the garden for us too in the crazy hot weather! Nothing was too much trouble, they certainly made us feel comfortable and left an impression on our furries, as well as us, and we can’t wait to have them stay again in the future!

Our girls were so very happy with them
Having followed them on socials for a little while, we were lucky to get Chris and Suze when they unexpectedly had some availability which fitted in with us. All the communication with them was prompt, professional and friendly. Their passion for animals shines through
Chris and Suze looked after my two dogs, a 16 month old Cane Corso and the other a 2 year old English toy terrier. I instantly felt at ease and confident my dogs were in good hands, they both have a natural way with dogs and their passion for animals in general shone through. It was Echo's birthday whilst I was away, Chris and Suze went above and beyond to make it special, with custom made party hats and a birthday present box of treats. I cannot thank them enough and was blown away at how kind and caring they were. I didn't worry at all whilst I was away as they kept me updated with pictures and messages. My house was well looked after and left clean, tidy and as I left it. I would highly recommend Chris and Suze for their first class care, communication, positive and organised approach!

Very happy dogs
Chris and Suze have been amazing housesitters, looking after our three dogs. It is the first time we have had housesitters and they were perfect! The dogs loved them and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was so good to come home to a well looked after house and very happy dogs.

They were amazing
Suze and Chris took on the challenge of house sitting for newbies AND a four month old Doberman puppy. They were amazing on both fronts, guiding us through the process and then taking wonderful care of both the puppy and our two Bengals. The house was immaculate when we returned and we felt total peace of mind while we were away. They kept us updated on how our pets were doing and in addition, Chris took some extraordinary photos of them all and sent them to us as keepsakes. A lifelong bond has been made!
I can’t thank Suze and Chris enough for making our first venture into house sitting such a smooth and easy experience! They are super organised and with their enormous experience in looking after pets and houses we knew we were in safe hands from the moment we had our first video call (recommended by them). We received regular updates, photos and videos which made everything feel so much better for leaving our pets and when we got home Billie and Nala really didn’t know if they should come to us or stay with them, clearly a lifelong bond had been made! I’m already planning on their return
As soon as I read Suze & Chris’s info I knew they were the ones to sit for us and I wasn’t wrong! Communication was very prompt from the start and they arrived with perfect timing. They are a relaxed, easy going couple, with plenty of sitting experience with various animals, big and small. This leant to an easy handover and I left feeling very confident in their ability to take care of everything, which is what you want when you go away. I was given regular updates through the week. I was even sent some lovely photos of the pets, I will be framing a few as they are that good!! The house and barn were left immaculate on our return. In fact my husband commented that he had never seen the place so tidy!! In all, Suze and Chris are a lovely, easy going couple that you instantly feel at home with. They clearly love animals
We were lucky enough to get Suze and Chris to house and dog sit for us for a couple of nights and they were absolutely fab, they clearly love animals and Winston was very happy and comfortable with them from the outset. They are quietly confident sitters, delightful, thoughtful and friendly personalities, calm, capable and caring. They kept us updated with photos from their various outings and left the house immaculate with all the linen kindly washed and back on the bed. Absolutely amazing
Suze & Chris were absolutely amazing as sitters for our flat and more importantly for our two pets. Our cat, Arturo, even took to cuddling with them at night when everyone went to sleep (something he typically does not do with brand new sitters!). The flat was handed back to us in pristine condition and Suze & Chris had even been so kind as to wash and dry the sheets and replace them on the guest bed. We received consistent updates on the animals, which we love while we are away. I cannot recommend Suze & Chris highly enough - we will surely be inviting them back into our home again the next time we are away!

Amazing experience

Cuddle experts
This was Suze and Chris’s third sit for us and the longest. Once again they were first rate sitters and once again Jem (our lovely Saluki-X) was very sad to see them go! He loves a cuddle and they are clearly cuddle experts! Once again the house was left as found and all the usual communications were prompt and friendly. Our dogs didn’t notice we were gone
These guys were great! We needed a sitter for a really short time (24hours) and they stepped in and helped. Our dogs, Bill and Ben are grumpy old men who know how they like their lives and are usually quite upset by us going away but when we got back the boys didn't seem to have noticed we'd been gone!! I would recommend Chris and Suze to anyone looking for a caring sitter and hopefully we can have them back again in the future.

Suze and Chris were amazing house sitters! As soon as the sit was confirmed, we made contact on WhatsApp and they made sure I was comfortable and had all the information I needed. During the sit, they sent me regular updates about how it was going along with photos of the pets. I could tell from the photos that all three pets were feeling happy and bonding with Suze and Chris which put my mind at rest and allowed me to relax on my holiday. They were comfortable giving Felix his twice daily medicine and he seemed in great shape when I returned! Suze and Chris took wonderful care of my apartment, I think it was even cleaner when I arrived home! They even made sure the sheets were washed and left a lovely card at the end of the sit! I highly recommend Suze and Chris as thoughtful, considerate house sitters who will take great care of your pets and home!

The perfect partnership
Suze and Chris sat for me for the third time and yet again proved themselves to be the perfect partnership. They are calm, supremely well organised and so kind to my dogs, plenty of cuddles, lots of fun and games and really long walks. They kept me updated on a regular basis and sent some wonderful photos - Chris needs to go professional as a photographer. They also looked after my holiday cottage, far better than I do, in fact! It has never looked cleaner. They also coped admirably with the inevitable mountains of washing. Conscientious, trustworthy and friendly
We were so pleased to have Suze and Chris house and dog sit for us whilst we went away. They were exactly the conscientious, trustworthy and friendly people we were hoping we would find to look after our Golden Retriever Bess. We met them just before we left for a brief handover, and were immediately reassured that Bess (and our house) would be in dependable, capable hands. Whilst we were away, Suze and Chris kept us updated with what they'd been getting up to with Bess including sending us plenty of photos. She was clearly having a great time. Fantastic house sitters
Suze and Chris are fantastic house sitters. We came back to a very clean house, they had washed and changed the bedding and towels, there were also some delicious homemade peppermint truffles waiting for us. Ben and I had to ask them to do a couple of things for us while we were away and they were incredibly obliging. Most importantly, our parrot Murphy! He was very well taken care of. He was happy and looked very content and that is all we could really ask for. I hope that Suze and Chris are free to come and sit for us again, hopefully in the very near future.

I had absolutely nothing to worry about
