Personalised care for your reptiles
This service includes our base level house sitting service – we will live in your home throughout the day and overnight for the duration of your time away. For more information about what to expect when we house sit, take a look at our housesitting service page.
For reptile care, we take on all our usual house sitting responsibilities while keeping your reptiles happy too! This service includes pets such as snakes, bearded dragons, lizards, geckos, tortoises and turtles. We aim to fit seamlessly into your routine and will keep to any guidelines you give us involving feeding and maintaining their living space. We love to give reptiles as much love and attention as other pets, including lots of interaction and handling if needed! If your tortoise needs to be put into an exercise run, or your bearded dragon likes a cuddle, we love to provide the best care for them.
Feeding + Healthcare
Keeping your reptiles happy and healthy
We will feed your reptile their diet (all food provided by you) and are comfortable with feeding live food to reptiles. We can clean out tanks and cages, change newspaper bedding, check on temperatures and heat lamps, prepare special food and can also clean and wash your reptiles if needed. We are comfortable with handling reptiles when required and putting them out in exercise enclosures, and will always give them as much attention as other pets!
Safety
Your reptiles are in good hands
As we always pet sit as a couple, there will always be two pairs of hands and eyes looking out for your reptiles and as such we are comfortable sitting any number of pets. We have a multitude of experience caring for different reptiles.
We will keep you updated on how your reptiles are doing while you’re away, providing photos, video updates and messages as often as requested. We let you tell us how much contact you’d like during our stay, and are never offended if owners request regular updates – especially if you haven’t used pet sitters before.
